My Story
My name is Katrina Moller and I have always been fascinated by behaviour and what drives it. To this end I completed a Psychology degree at university before going on to gain further qualifications in the more specialist areas of Play Therapy, Filial Therapy and SandStory Therapy. My own life experiences have taught me a lot about big, uncomfortable, scary feelings, however, I have also learnt that with understanding, compassion, safety and trust, we can find the strength to recover from trauma, becoming more resilient and confident in the process, living better, happier lives.
Today, I feel incredibly lucky to have a job that I am totally passionate about. I LOVE what I do! I am continuously humbled by what children and adults bring to their sessions, their perceptiveness, their spontaneity, their individuality and their courage. To me, you are all a source of inspiration.

I know life can be really hard! But I believe we can all be stronger, sometimes, we just need a helping hand to guide us.

I would like to be that help for you and your family. I would like to support you along an incredible journey where you will discover new things about yourself and you will find new strength and belief in yourself.

"Katrina is very easy to talk to and both my children found the same and liked her warmth and kindness."
J.L. - Family Sessions

"(We) are so happy with the way that our son has been able to process his emotions ... he has gone from feeling very unhappy and not confident to happy and confident in his abilities. We have seen his relationship with his brother evolve and he now understands how to better cope with his feelings of frustration. We also have learned quite a lot about the way we are as parents and the role we have to play in guiding him. We are over the moon happy."

"I really can't think of anything you could do differently ...! You're fantastic - thank you!"

"We were fortunate enough to work with Katrina for a year, she supported a range of children and families at our school, all with wide ranging and complex backgrounds and needs. Her therapy sessions provided children much needed time and space to work through difficulties they had faced, or were facing, in their young lives. The feedback provided to staff and families was invaluable in offering individuals the right support at school and home."
H.B. - Local Primary School

"I would highly recommend a bespoke workshop from Katrina. She was able to acknowledge the pressures and challenges staff face in education and still provide practical solutions and strategies to support children who have faced early trauma. Staff left feeling better informed and more confident with supporting individuals in their class. In fact, the workshop allowed us to reflect on our behaviour policy for all children, to ensure any behaviours they show are seen as a mode of communication that requires support in order for them to feel safe and secure."

"We have been very pleased with the progress (our son) made and are very grateful for all your help, (our son) has made huge improvements and we feel much better equipped to manage situations with him and encouraged by your support."

"I would highly recommend Katrina. She is very skilled at taking the lead from the child and building a strong, honest and trusting relationship with them. She creates a very safe space for the child to be themselves and explore their feelings. She has the child at the centre of her work and is very respectful of them and their privacy."
